Multi-hyphenate country performer/media personality Kelleigh Bannen's art and career have evolved significantly since COVID-19's quarantine. The Apple Music Radio personality and critically acclaimed singer-songwriter has returned to music with her latest single, "I Know Better Now."

The hopeful, aware piano ballad highlights her perpetual inspiration from Music City's music community filled with what she describes as "talented vocalists, storytellers and dreamers."

"I love creating," Bannen has stated about her favorite part of her decade in Music City.

"Whether it's creating onstage in the moment or creating in the writer's room, there's something kind of magical. I want there to be that invitation for people to just to lean in a little bit with me and be themselves. I hope it feels like an invitation and then I do hope that in sharing truth about my own heart, that it's a life giving thing in some way."

"I learned time works like a medicine / Your scars are the evidence / That whatever's in the past is irrelevant," sings Bannen in a poignantly phrased performance of the new, Logan Wall-written song.

Wall's a BMG-signed singer-songwriter with notable credits with Larry Fleet and Brantley Gilbert.

"I Know Better Now" is Bannen's first musical release since her album, "Favorite Colors," and its single, "The Optimist," released in 2019. Her reputation as an unapologetic and uncompromised artist has served her well recently. She has also succeeded as the host of an eponymously-titled Apple Music Radio program, plus the platform's "Today's Country Radio." The success of both programs hinges upon her using her talent as a singer-songwriter to gain unparalleled vision into the work of stars, including Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, Eric Church, Ashley McBryde, Shania Twain, and Luke Bryan.

“The Kelleigh Bannen Show” airs live Monday through Thursday on Apple Music Country at 9 a.m. CT, and "Today’s Country Radio” airs every Friday at 9 a.m. CT. Both shows are available on demand on Apple Music Radio.
