Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson’s relationship has taken a turn for the worse.

According to The Shade Room, the actress has been granted a temporary restraining order against Jackson for alleged domestic abuse. Palmer has also been granted sole custody of their son Leodis, who was born earlier this year.

Per the outlet, legal documents surfaced detailing reports of Jackson’s ongoing “emotional and manipulative” abuse made by the 30-year-old.

“The abuse in our relationship was not just physical, but emotional and manipulative,” she reportedly stated. “Darius would ‘love bomb’ me and make me feel like I was the most important woman in the world, only to get extremely distant and cold over a perceived insult to him.”

Palmer filed for legal custody of their eight-month-old on Thursday (Nov. 9) and was granted the request plus a restraining order on Friday (Nov. 10).

“I am very concerned for Leo’s safety with Darius given his violent, viotile, and jealous nature, comments he has made which have caused me grave concern, and the lack of restraint Darius has already exhibited regarding his temper in front of our son,” the Nope star reportedly said in her statement.

Radar reported that a Los Angeles judge ordered Jackson to “stay 100 feet from Palmer and their infant son,” without any visitation “until further notice.” Reportedly, a hearing will be held on Dec. 5 to determine the permanent status of the temporary request. The outlet also stated that Jackson was ordered to turn in a handgun within 24 hours of the court’s decision. Palmer also allegedly informed the courts that Jackson has threatened to commit self-harm if she left him.

In addition to Palmer’s claims, she included screenshots from video surveillance, which have now surfaced on the internet. The shots show Darius apparently pushing Palmer down over a couch and trying to stop her from leaving. According to Palmer, on Sunday (Nov. 5), Darius “trespassed into [her] home without [her] knowledge or consent.”

Reportedly, Jackson became enraged when Palmer refused to let him take their son to a football game.

The KeyTV creator alleged that Jackson “screamed” at her before lunging in her direction, “grabbing at [her] neck and face.” She also claimed that he “knocked [her] backwards over the couch, stole [her] phone out of [her] hands, and then “ran out of the house.”

Per the legal documents, Palmer also made claims that Jackson was abusive towards her in February 2022 when he, “choked and slammed [her] onto the stairs in [her] home after becoming violently jealous and irrationally angry over a bikini picture.” Reportedly, the night before that incident, Jackson “slammed” her on their bedroom floor and “slapped [her] head from side to side.”

Palmer also mentioned other abusive times during their relationship including Jackson destroying her “diaries and prescription glasses,” throwing her “belongings [and keys] into the street,” and using profane language in front of their son. She also claimed that Jackson would get jealous “about the time [she] was spending with [their] son,” and even “almost” got into a “tug of war with Leo” in September 2023 after Jackson allegedly became “frustrated” with the infant’s crying.

“Darius started getting rough with Leo physically, and I stepped in to make sure Darius would not hurt him,” she reportedly stated. “Darius was angry, and it almost became a tug of war with Leo. Darius finally let go, and Leo was not harmed, but as I was holding Leo trying to comfort him and finish changing his diaper, Darius hit me in the head before storming out of the room.”

Palmer’s mother, Sharon, also took to social media to address Darius’ brother and actor, Sarunas Jackson, who deleted a post about his brother being a “vile and abusive” person.

In a video, Sharon claimed that she made Sarunas aware of the abuse that was taking place, as he allegedly told her that “he used to be like that, too.”

Sarunas’ original post stated: “The most disgusting, vile, abusive, manipulative person I have EVER encountered in my entire life. Abuses almost everyone. Y’all will see.. Just send positive energy to the babies.. Any child in the middle of something like this does not deserve it AT ALL. Wow. SO damn sad.”

In response to it all, Jackson posted a simple message on X: ”I love you son. See you soon.”
