A little bit of drama won't keep Keke Palmer from supporting her family.

Following a series of public relationship hiccups with boyfriend Darius Jackson over the past few months, the actress and musician showcased photos of him as well as their son Leo (born in February) during a sweet slideshow as part of her Big Boss Tour stop at Webster Hall in New York City on Monday.

While performing the song "I Care" off her recent Big Boss album, a large screen behind Palmer displayed photos from throughout her life with family and friends. The slideshow included images of her with Jackson, him solo with Leo, their son on his own and the trio as a family unit.

Jackson, 29, made headlines in July when he publicly criticized the outfit Palmer, 30, wore to watch Usher perform at his Las Vegas Residency in July, writing on X (formerly Twitter) at the time, "It's the outfit tho.. you a mom."

Having recently attended Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour in Los Angeles together, the pair appear to be on good terms now, but she did seem to nod toward the recent events during the concert. Palmer performed an unreleased song titled "Ungorgeous," which she said was recorded "about 12 years ago" but feels pertinent to her life today — perhaps as a result of the relationship drama.

"You used to tell me I’m beautiful / But now I don’t even know no more / It’s like you’re trying to be difficult / You never used to do this before," she sings on the mid-tempo pop track, teased on TikTok last month.

Of the song's fresh personal meaning, Palmer said, "We don't like to go through hard times. We don't like to go through ups and downs and the ways that life takes us, but boy, when we do, do we have a testimony."

"For me, so much has happened since I did that song," she explained after performing the track. "I mean, I got a baby, I turned 30. I got a family. You know, I've experienced things. A lot of the things you'll see in the Big Boss movie and some I keep to my heart because they’re too painful to share. But the truth of what I'm saying is sometimes we gotta let it out, y'all."

The day after the performance, Palmer appeared on on Today with Hoda & Jenna and was asked if she's still with Jackson romantically. Co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager spoke about Palmer attending the Beyoncé concert with Jackson on Sept. 4, after their public relationship drama.

"Not y’all trying to get into it! They trying it on the Today show," joked Palmer.

Hager said, "We want to know if you’re happy." Palmer replied, "Yes, life is good. I have nothing but gratitude, honestly. Seriously."

When Kotb asked if that meant "for the relationship...?" Palmer clarified, "I’m not trying to be specific!"

"Well, are y’all together?" asked Hager. Said Palmer, "I’m going to take a page out of my girl Beyoncé’s book: Mind y’all’s business." Hager responded, "We will do that."
