Are Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman over? Not according to these photos.
A rumor raised its head last week that Australia’s favorite glamour couple, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman, are headed for an expensive divorce and are currently in a trial separation after 11 years of marriage.
For those who are skeptical, we are too. Because if the way the actress and musician were behaving Sunday night at the Academy of Country Music Awards was indicative of Splitsville, it’s certainly a very friendly split indeed.
Urban and Kidman are notorious for being lovey-dovey at awards shows; this one, however, was particularly warm and fuzzy even by their standards.
The pair canoodled and giggled together on the show’s blue carpet prior to the show.
Urban playfully gave his wife’s cheek a pinch (or perhaps he was adjusting her earring or a stray bit of hair).
And he gave her that look (just notice his saucy smirk) as she showed off her sexy backless gown for the cameras.
Then they snuggled together in their stadium seats, looking like a pair of lovestruck teenagers about to watch Netflix all night long.
Tell us now: Does that look like a couple on the verge of implosion? We thought not. But as we all know, gossip will worm its way into even the tightest of bonds.
Urban collected the ACM’s Vocal Event of the Year award, for his duet “The Fighter” with Carrie Underwood. He and Kidman may do well to store up on PDA, as he’ll be heading out on the road for a 58-date tour in June. The trek is in support of his ninth album, Graffiti U, which drops April 27.
