Keegan-Michael Key Excited to Be ‘Only African-American’ at RNC

Keegan-Michael Key showed up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert as “Frank,” the only African-American at the Republican National Convention. Since a recent poll showed that 0% of black voters in Ohio support Donald Trump, Frank was a very popular person. Decked out in Trump gear, Key said that everyone was being really nice to him: “They gave me a shirt, they gave me a hat, they’re always putting me on camera for some reason. I’ve never been so popular in my life!”

A lot of people have been saying that this year’s Republican National Convention has been kind of boring so far, but Frank seemed to be having a ton of fun, saying, “Chris Christie burned a witch earlier, Ben Carson was just juggling brains. I didn’t know it was going to be this entertaining!”

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.

‘The Colbert Report’ returns on 'The Late Show’ thanks to Jon Stewart.
