Katy Perry Shares Intimate Birthday Tribute to Orlando Bloom, the ‘Love and Light of My Life’

Katy Perry, like many partners on Instagram, marked her fiancé Orlando Bloom’s birthday with a tribute to him—along with a carousel of photos and videos from their personal life together, for all to see.
“Happiest 45th to the kindest, deepest, most soulful, sexy & strong man I know,” Perry captioned the post. “Thank you for being a constant compass, an unwavering anchor and bringing joi de vivre into every room you walk in. You are the love and light of my life. I thank my lucky stars for you and our darling dd ♥️♠️”
Perry’s post comes shortly after a source spoke to Entertainment Tonight this week about how Bloom and Perry’s relationship is going. That source revealed that the two do hope to expand their family soon. They welcomed their first child together, daughter Daisy Dove, in August 2020.
“Katy and Orlando are so happy,” the source said. “They’re doing very well as a couple and have gotten into a great groove. They want to expand their family. They’re both super supportive of each other’s careers and love parenting together.”
Bloom and Perry dated on and off for three years before getting engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019. They keep most of their romance off social media, but birthday tribute posts are a regular thing for both of them.
Bloom marked Perry’s 37th birthday on his own Instagram with an intimate look inside their celebration. “We do life we do love and it’s fun,” he wrote to her. “I’ll celebrate you today and everyday. 🎂🥳✨I love you. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️”
