Katy Perry Reveals New Album Release Date, Shares New Song “Daisies”: Listen

Katy Perry has shared “Daisies,” the first single from her next album. She’s also revealed that the record will arrive on August 14 via Capitol. Watch the “Daisies” video, directed and produced by Liza Voloshin, below.

“I wrote this song a couple months ago as a call to remain true to the course you’ve set for yourself, regardless of what others may think,” Perry wrote. “Recently, it has taken a new meaning for me, in light of what the whole world is experiencing.” She penned “Daisies” with Jon Bellion, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Michael Pollack, and the Monsters’ Jordan K. Johnson and Stefan Johnson. The song is produced by The Monsters & Strangerz.

Perry released her previous album Witness in June 2017. Since then, she’s released singles including “Harleys in Hawaii,” “Small Talk,” “Never Really Over,” and “365.” This past March, she shared “Never Worn White” and she used the song’s music video to revealed her pregnancy.
