Katy Perry’s Baby Girl, Daisy Dove, Looks Just Like Her

Orlando said Daisy looks just like Katy and has her blue eyes.
To calm Daisy, Orlando likes to chant Buddhist mantras in her ear.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom welcomed their first baby together, their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, on August 26, announcing her birth to the world with a black-and-white photo of the couple holding her teeny hand. Since then, Katy has been so refreshingly real about what motherhood actually looks like, and Orlando just gave Ellen DeGeneres a lil update about their baby girl.
While catching up with him virtually during her show, Ellen mentioned that Katy had sent her a photo of Daisy and thought they looked alike—especially in the eyes. Orlando agreed and said, “But it was funny because when she first came out, I was like, ‘Oh, it’s me! It’s a mini-me.’ And then, fortunately, she got those Katy blues, which was perfect.”
He continued, “But then she sort of looks like my mom. So then I got a little confused because Katy’s breastfeeding this mini-me slash my mom…who’s she gonna look like next?”
Orlando also said that Daisy is sleeping through the night. Luckily for them, she zonks out around 9 p.m. and doesn’t wake up until 6 or 7 in the morning. And whenever she needs to chill out a little bit, Orlando chants a Buddhist mantra in her ear, which helps her settle down. “So now I walk into the room and she hears my voice and she soothes a bit.” The Lord of the Rings star added, “Katie is a bit like, ‘What?!’ It’s like I’m the baby whisperer. I am definitely winning the daddy points.”
