In a recent interview, director Sriram Raghavan shared intriguing insights into the making of Merry Christmas. He shared the film’s connection with Pinocchio, the trailer cuts, the casting of lead actors, and more. Notably, Raghavan emphasized the uniqueness of one-night stories as a distinct genre.

Additionally, he provided a glimpse into the essence of the movie, describing it as the intersection of two strangers on a fateful Christmas Eve.

He explained, “You meet them on this particular day. What they were doing before, how much of what they are saying is true or false, it is all left to you to make assumptions as a viewer. These two strangers are meeting each other and the viewer is meeting each of them, and we have to figure out, ‘Okay, what’s happening here?’ It just makes you curious.”

The release of “Nazar Teri Toofan” has now heightened the anticipation for the movie Merry Christmas. It will be released in theatres on January 12, 2024.
