People have questions for Katie Maloney. Season 7 of Vanderpump Rules is underway, and viewers want to know her thoughts on everything from Schwartz & Sandy’s to… Schwartz and Raquel. (See the clip above.) Meanwhile, others are keen to hear Katie’s insights on the controversial drug Ozempic.

Though it’s intended to treat type 2 diabetes, Ozempic is rumored to be the new drug of choice for celebrity weight loss. Some people have strong concerns about the trend, but Katie is taking the middle road on this one.

“I say everyone do what you want to do,” the podcast host recently told People. “Understand the risks, and if it’s right for you, it’s right for you. I think the expectations [for women to be thin] are always going be there whether or not there’s… this miracle drug,” she said.

“The pressures are always going to be there,” she continued. “So thanks Hollywood, thanks media, thanks society for keeping it going. But I just think, you know, if it makes you happy, follow your bliss.”

In the past, the Utah native has shared her own personal approach to health and fitness. In 2020, Katie lost more than 20 pounds by making subtle tweaks to her diet. Mind you, that’s not dieting.

“I think dieting is not sustainable and it’s very short term and just sets you up for failure,” Katie once explained to Hollywood Life. “So now I just feel like I just know how to, like, eat for my body and metabolism.”

Back then, Katie started her day with a partial egg-white omelet with avocado and feta cheese. Though she’s not a huge snacker by nature, she trained herself to eat more frequently throughout the day.

“For snacks, it’s always fruits or a little bite of nuts and cheese or something,” Katie told Hollywood Life.

For lunch, she had a “massive giant protein salad” topped with roasted chicken, and dinner was typically chicken with a “nice and easy” side like broccoli or green beans.
