Katie Holmes isn’t giving up comfortable pants any time soon.

Pounding the pavement in New York City, the actress, 44, was spotted in a pair of relaxed pants on Sunday. And no, they weren’t the Alo Yoga sweatpants that Holmes keeps wearing, but instead a dressier pair that could replace your leggings or yoga pants without compromising on comfort.

On the border between wide-leg and straight-leg styles, the black bottoms were roomy throughout the thighs and legs, but not so much that they had tons of cascading fabric. The gist? They looked lowkey and comfy, and they also closely resembled the white ones she wore back in June.

Up top, she opted for a multi-colored sweater resembling a mind-bending kaleidoscope, and threw a roomy tote bag over her shoulder. She polished off the rest of the fall ensemble with a pair of black loafers, the shoe style she wears often.

Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kate Middleton have also recently opted for longer, fall-favored versions of wide-leg pants, while a long roster of other stars, like Blake Lively and Sandra Bullock, have been wearing wide-leg pants in for warmer months, too.
