Kathy Wakile Has a New '80s-Inspired Hairstyle

Kathy Wakile has a brand new hair look with a major throwback twist. The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum decided that she wanted to "change it up" for spring with a playful hairstyle that gave us strong 80s-era vibes.

On April 12, Kathy took to Instagram to share her fresh, high-volume hairstyle that looked like a chic update on an old-school classic. "'80s Hair, Don’t Care! I can always count on Julius Michael to change it up!" she wrote in her caption alongside a smiling selfie taken in her car. Kathy glowed with her signature chestnut hair styled in a side part with free-flowing crimps and subtle, sunny highlights.

Of course, it isn't altogether shocking that Kathy would welcome an unconventional hairstyle given her history in the hair industry. She recently revealed that not only was she an in-demand hairstylist when she was in high school, but that she also debated returning to her beauty-based career shortly before joining the Jersey Housewives in Season 3. Kathy has worked with celebrity stylist Julius Michael for some of her most iconic looks, including a switch to a lighter hair color and her fall-ready "cinnamon spice" shade.
