Kathy Griffin posts lingerie photos on Instagram to celebrate her 59th birthday

Kathy Griffin is posing in her lingerie whether you like it or not.

In celebration of her birthday, the comedian posted a few skin-baring snapshots on Instagram on Monday, captioning one, "59 today and no f--ks left to give."

The photo shows Griffin standing and smiling confidently as she wears a cleavage-baring bustier and a pair of black and pink stiletto heels, which you can see in the gallery below.

Earlier in the day, she posted a photo in a leopard print bra and black lace underwear, writing, "Morning fellas. I'm 59 today."

Although Griffin is no stranger to criticism and likely anticipated some snarky responses, most of the reactions have been quite positive with fans quick to wish her a happy birthday and compliment her fit physique: "She's lookin' good!" one wrote, while another said, "Haven't aged! You look great lady! Keep rockin it."

A number of famous faces also joined the "happy birthday" chorus, including Lisa Rinna, Gloria Estafan, Kate Beckinsale and Lance Bass.

Griffin has powered through a rocky few years: Her career ground to a halt in the spring of 2017 after she did a controversial photo shoot in which she held up a fake bloody Donald Trump head. In the two and a half years since, she's carefully worked to reclaim her spot in the public eye and in 2018 embarked on a remarkably successful stand-up tour.

She's also taken time to deal with personal turmoil, including the death of her sister and her mother's battle with dementia.
