Kathie Lee Gifford Unable to Eat Salad Because of ‘Mind Control’

Kari Byron and Tory Belleci were part of the Mythbusters team, but now they’re hosts of White Rabbit Project on Netflix. The pair, without co-host Grant Imahara, were on Today to conduct a little experiment with Kathie Lee Gifford. Both KLG and Belleci were hooked up in a way that enabled Belleci to control Gifford’s movements. It was mind control! Sort of.

Long story short, they used technology from Backyard Brains, a company that makes neuroscience educational equipment and experiments. The technology uses the brain signals you use to move your own hand, but “amplifies” it and “injects” it into another person’s arm, thereby controlling their movements. Belleci, controlling Gifford’s movements, prevented her from enjoying a salad. But, you should watch because words fail to capture how fun it was.
