Katey Sagal Could Be Returning To 'The Connors' As Dan's Love Interest
Her Career Post-'Sons'
While she'll always be Gemma, Katey Sagal has been keeping busy since the end of Sons of Anarchy. She taken on roles in The Bastard Executioner, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Shameless, and Superior Donuts. She also appeared in an episode of The Connors as a potential love interest for Dan.
Could She Return To 'The Conners'?
According to a report from TVLine,, the ABC sitcom is hoping to bring back Sagal for a "significant role" in the upcoming second season.
Sagal played Louise, a former high school friend of Rosanne and Dan's who reconnected with the widower. While he turned down her romantic advances, there was definitely a connection.
A Fresh Start For Dan
In a January interview, star and executive producer Sara Gilbert had spoken very highly of Sagal's performance:
"Yes. She was amazing. I’d love to have her back as well, if we [are renewed]."
However, Gilbert was clear that it would take someone very special for Dan to get over the loss of Roseanne. Could Sagal be that woman?
