Kate Winslet’s Daughter Jealous Over Co-stars Hemsworth, Timberlake
Kate Winslet sat down for an interview with Billy Bush on Today to talk about her new movie, The Dressmaker, and her onscreen love interest in the new film, Liam Hemsworth. Winslet is nearly 15 years older than Hemsworth. She said she doesn’t know how old he is, just that he’s under 30, which, according to Winslet, probably explains why her 15-year-old daughter is envious.
As if that weren’t enough, Winslet just started working on a new project with Justin Timberlake, and her daughter is making sure she makes it onto this set.
“She has said, ‘Mommy, if you don’t let me come on to that set, I’m never going to speak to you again,’” said Winslet.
It may be a good idea for Winslet to invite her daughter to the set, if for no other reason than that her daughter can help her avoid little snafus like asking Timberlake if he sings. While shooting, Winslet said, she tends to hum or absent-mindedly sing between takes. She noticed that Timberlake does the same, prompting her to ask the pop star the silly question.
