Kate Winslet is using her acting chops for a special cause on Red Nose Day.

The Oscar winner, 48, hilariously embodied the feelings of a fed-up parent during a reading of R-rated parenting book F---,Now There Are Two of You for BBC's Comic Relief's Red Nose Day, an event that raises money to address homelessness, poverty and mental health around the world.

“Hello children, you really need to go sleep. Right now,” Winslet began her introduction to the profanity-laced best-selling book. “And hello mummies and daddies, tonight’s bedtime story is called F---, Now There Are Two of You.”

The book, which is the third book in the popular Go the F--- to Sleep series written by author Adam Mansbach, follows two parents who discover just how much hard work it is adding a second child to the family. To quote the book, "two is a million more kids than one."

Winslet doesn’t mince words in the video, proudly reading each and every swear word as a red dot with the words “Red Nose Day” blocked her mouth every time she uttered the words. The reading was accompanied with the sketches from the book.

Mansbach applauded the actress for lending her voice to the fun on-of-a-kind reading. "It's for a great cause," he said. "And it's Kate f------ Winslet."

Winslet, who has three children — Mia Threapleton, whom she shares with ex-husband Jim Threapleton, Joe Alfie Mendes whom she shares with ex-husband Sam Mendes and Bear Blaze whom she shares with husband Edward Abel Smith — knows the difficulties of managing multiple children at the same time.

She jokingly channeled her inner frustrations as a mother as she concluded her reading of the book, closing it with a loud snap before dropping it onto her lap to end her reading. “Goodnight,” she teasingly said in an exasperated tone before the end credits rolled.
