Kate Winslet Finally Admits that Rose Totally Should Have Saved Jack in 'Titanic'

Kate Winslet has finally acknowledged something that every fan of Titanic has long believed: that Rose DeWitt Bukater really could have saved Jack Dawson from his tragic demise.

During an appearance last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Winslet agreed with the talk show host when he noted that, “in a way, you let him freeze to death in the water.”

“I agree, I think he could have actually fitted on that bit of door,” Winslet said, referring to the flotsam on which her character floats while Leonardo DiCaprio’s Jack continues treading water in the bone-chilling North Atlantic and, eventually, croaks as icicles form on his beautiful, heart-throbby lips.

What Winslet says is absolutely true. Look at the sequence again in the clip below: There is so much room for Leo on that door!
