The comments under Kate Upton’s video show that no woman is safe online from misogynistic trolls.

In the video, we see Upton try on an array of looks, all of which look so stunning on the radiant model. However, people who think their mean opinions matter had to ruin it.

One troll commented, “I remember when she was the hottest now she’s mid at best SMH.” Mid? Mid?? Upton and mid together makes no sense. Yet again, misogynistic men put in their unnecessary two cents, and try to take down a confident, beautiful women just because she exists on the internet.

Another troll commented, “wow she lost all her curves. she is a like an average looking, plain, tall girl in america now.” Sir, Upton is so stunning, and anything but plain. But even so, what the heck is wrong with plain? There’s nothing wrong with plain, and comments like these two make women feel so insecure online.

Being a woman online is depressingly dangerous. You get judged for every little thing you do, even if you’re a stunning supermodel like Upton. Itnux even found that 60 percent of online users say social media has deeply affected their mental health.

Now, Upton doesn’t care about the critics, and in fact, she says they inspired her body confidence. “After my first cover, [critics] were discussing whether I was fat or not. I had this huge moment in my career, and they were tearing it apart,” she said via People. I have to thank the people who did that because it really made me sit back and find out who I was and what meant something to me and how I thought about my body.”

She added, “They lashed out on me because they felt insecure about themselves. I realize that my confidence that I had in my body was actually meant to inspire women to love themselves for all their different flaws.”
