Kate Upton Throws Shade at the Kardashians With a Snapchat Selfie
It’s war! Kate Upton took aim at the Kardashians on Tuesday, posting a puckered-up selfie to Snapchat with the caption, “I look like a kardashian, nose job and all.”
But this isn’t the first time there’s been tension between the 24-year-old model and the reality TV family. In 2013 Kim’s husband, Kanye West, spoke to the Breakfast Club radio show and lashed out at Vanity Fair for calling the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model the next Marilyn Monroe when it featured her on its cover.
“Kate Upton ain’t Marilyn Monroe,” he said in a heated rant. “Kim is Marilyn Monroe, you know that. She was controversial. She [is] controversial.”
Five months later the couple graced the cover of Vogue magazine, reportedly replacing Kate.
As for the plastic surgery rumors, Kim has adamantly denied going under the knife, admitting only to indulging in Botox and a nonsurgical tummy tuck. She shut down the rumors that she’d had plastic surgery to shed her postbaby weight after giving birth to her daughter, North West.
“I am very frustrated today seeing reports that I got surgery to lose my baby weight! This is FALSE,” she wrote on Twitter. “I worked so hard to train myself to eat right & healthy, I worked out so hard & this was such a challenge for me but I did it!!! I’m so proud of my accomplishment & NO ONE will take this away from me with fake reports!”
Kim’s sister Khloé also dispelled rumors that she had a nose job during an interview with Cosmopolitan in March.
