At just 31, Kate Upton is considered a veteran of the modeling industry.

The Michigan native, who grew up in Melbourne, Florida, is probably best known for fronting the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, though. She first appeared on the iconic magazine’s cover in 2011 at the age of 18, then three more times after that.

This week, for the iconic edition’s 60th anniversary, the supermodel’s back for her fifth go-around.

On Instagram, the mom of one (who’s married to MLB star Justin Verlander) told her followers she was “honored” to pose yet again.

“SI has been a huge part of my career,” said the Jupiter resident’s caption, along with the mag’s shot of her in a red striped bikini. “So it felt really special.”

Other models to grace the commemorative edition include fellow catwalker Chrissy Teigen as well as a few unexpected folks like TV journalist Gayle King.

“This year’s issue is a tribute to the recent past, but also a call to continue evolving,” said editor MJ Day. “We encourage women to defy the expected, to celebrate their strength and confidence, and to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness and follow their passions without fear.”

Fans of the mag can partake in the festivities at an anniversary party this weekend at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood.

The so called “Swimsuit Island: Through the Decades Fan Experience” is going to be “legendary,” according to a press release. Expect interactive events, live music, wellness sessions, celebrity guests, “Instagrammable photo ops” and, naturally, lots of bathing suits.
