They were rumored to have a major announcement that would come during the Christmas festivities however that never came to fruition.
Now, it seems The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will not be disappointing us as they have confirmed there is still something big coming.
Yesterday, Kensington Palace tweeted, "Stay tuned for our first announcement of 2020 very shortly," and this came with a globe emoji.
Speculation is rife about what this could mean, with many thinking it pertains to a major royal tour coming up for the couple.

Will There Be Another Royal Tour?
Their most recent tour saw them spend five days in Pakistan, and fans have now speculated they could be going to Africa, as the continent was displayed so prominently on the globe they tweeted out.
This comes after the recent African tour undertaken by The Duke and Duchess of Sussex in which they made some controversial statements in their documentary Meghan and Harry: An African Journey.
There has also been major speculation that Kate and William are expecting their fourth child.
So, could we be expecting another little baby Cambridge in 2020?
They Recently Released A 'Year In Review' Video
Prince William and Kate recently released their '2019 Year In Review' video to their 10.6 million Instagram followers, and they showed photos from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, including the couple showing the world baby Archie for the first time.
Many saw this as an extended olive branch, being that the couples are rumored to have been in a feud for much of the year.
The main conflict seems to be between Princes Harry and William, with Harry claiming the two are on "different paths" during an interview for his African tour documentary.
The Cambridges Have Had A Fantastic Year
Will and Kate have seen something of a rebirth this year, with the couple becoming more beloved than ever.
In past years they seem to have lost the sparkle they had right after their massive royal wedding, appearing slightly stuffy and maybe a little boring. But 2019 saw an "annus mirabilis" for the Cambridges, as the Daily Mail called it.
Their recently released Christmas card showed a confident-looking Wills surrounded by a supportive family, and their appearance in A Very Berry Christmas with Mary Berry was highly praised.

Their appearance at Sandringham this year for Christmas saw Prince George and Princess Charlotte highly praised for their attitudes towards the public.
The family looked solid and reliable, something we're all happy to see as William will take the throne in the future, and the royal family has been embroiled in massive scandals in 2019.
