Kate Middleton Wears Stunning Formal Green Dress at Buckingham Palace
Kate Middleton is continuing to prepare for the duties she may one day take on as queen by helping Queen Elizabeth II entertain leaders from around the world in a stunning green dress.
Because Prince William is on a royal tour in Kuwait, Kate Middleton is currently representing the House of Cambridge back home. As one of her duties, Middleton helped her grandmother-in-law Queen Elizabeth host NATO leaders as the conference celebrated its 70th anniversary at Buckingham Palace in London.

Middleton, now a mother of three, appeared to be having a great time as she greeted guests in a conservative, high-neckline dress that fell just below her knees.
The dress also had long sleeves and featured buttoned cufflinks on each arm. Although royals don't lack for jewels, Middleton went with a minimal look for her accessories at the event. She opted to wear her beautiful emerald engagement ring, as well as a pair of tear-drop-down diamond earrings for the occasion.
Although her outfit and accessories were conservative, Middleton opted to be slightly bolder when it came to her makeup, which included a smokey eyeshadow, contoured and blushed cheeks, and a matte, nude lipstick. All of this was framed by the Duchess's signature wavy hair.
In addition to Kate and the queen, several other members of the royal family were in attendance at the event, including Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Earl of Wessex, the Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandria.
There were plenty of other famous faces at the event as well, including President Donald Trump and his wife Melania. Before he was elected president, Trump made headlines with comments that he made about Middleton back in 2012.
When photos of sunbathing topless were released in a French magazine at the time, Middleton decided to sue the publication for invasion of privacy. Strangely, Trump seemed to argue that Middleton could only blame herself for the incident, in spite of his love for attacking the media.
“Kate Middleton is great – but she shouldn't be sunbathing in the nude – only herself to blame,” Trump tweeted, before adding “Who wouldn't take Kate's picture and make lots of money if she does the nude sunbathing thing. Come on Kate!”
The U.S. president has never been afraid to call things the way he sees them, but this tweet may have created a little tension as he was hosted by the Duchess. He may have wished that he could take that one back.
