The Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William and Kate Middleton, have reportedly put their "Harry Problem" behind them.

This comes after it was revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle privately reached out to William and Kate after her chemotherapy announcement. Reports suggest a lack of trust led Kate not to inform the Sussexes about her diagnosis.

The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, is reportedly considering attending a service at St Paul's Cathedral in London to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games.

This potential solo visit, without Meghan and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, might serve as an opportunity to mend fences with his estranged brother William.

However, sources close to the Prince and Princess of Wales suggested to The Telegraph that amid Kate and King Charles's cancer diagnoses, the "Harry problem" isn't a priority as the couple has emphasized the need for privacy and focus on Kate's recovery.

A royal source revealed to the outlet that William "has always done all he can to protect his family."

Insiders also reject the idea that the Prince and Princess of Wales have the capacity to address Harry amid their current concerns.

Harry and Meghan reportedly reached out to William and Kate privately on Friday evening after the princess of Wales shared a video disclosing her undergoing "preventative" chemotherapy. However, the mode of contact, whether a call, video call, or messages of support, remains undisclosed.

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex learned about Kate's condition at the same time as the public. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, speaking to The Sun, suggested that Kate refrained from informing Harry and Meghan because "they couldn't be trusted."

Fitzwilliams noted the longstanding rift between the brothers, stating: "There's a deep rift between the brothers - that we know. We also know that they haven't apparently spoken in many months, and the reason, of course, is that for some four years, they've caused endless problems to the royal family and so they can't be trusted."

He added: "William hasn't trusted Harry and Meghan and I mean with good reason. We know with Oprah, the 'Harry and Meghan' programme for Netflix, 'Spare,' and then with the interviews surrounding his book."

Per the Telegraph, Harry once referred to Kate as the "big sister I never had" when she got engaged to William over a decade ago.

Often viewed as a natural mediator, Kate allegedly played a reconciliatory role during Philip's funeral shortly after the Oprah interview.

At the funeral, observers noted her efforts to facilitate a conversation between Harry and William as they walked back to Windsor Castle, and many believed Kate could potentially mend the rift between the brothers.

However, Kate's relationship with Harry and Meghan has deteriorated post-Megxit as she was reportedly deeply hurt by allegations made by the couple.

The tension between William and Harry was palpable last week as they separately attended a memorial event honoring their mother, Princess Diana. William departed the ceremony before Harry joined remotely.

In a heartfelt video message shared on Friday, Kate revealed her recent diagnosis, disclosing that doctors discovered cancer following abdominal surgery in January.

She said: "The surgery was successful, however, tests after the operation found that cancer had been present. As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment."

Notably, she emphasized the importance of explaining the situation to her children, adding: "But most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them and to reassure them that I will be okay."

Shortly after the announcement, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sent Kate their well-wishes in a short statement via Harper's Bazaar: "We wish health and healing for Kate and the family and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace."

The statement read, "The Prince and Princess are both enormously touched by the kind messages from people here in the UK, across the Commonwealth and around the world in response to Her Royal Highness' message."

It further noted that William and Kate "are extremely moved by the public's warmth and support and are grateful for the understanding of their request for privacy at this time."
