Kate Middleton and Prince William have announced their plans for World Mental Health Day.

The royal couple will help host a forum for young people alongside a charity and top radio station in Birmingham, U.K. on Tuesday, Oct. 10, Kensington Palace says. It will take place just as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will host their own World Mental Health Day forum in New York City.

The Prince and Princess of Wales's event, Exploring our Emotional Worlds, "will bring together 100 young delegates nominated by ten leading mental health and youth engagement charities to start a conversation about how they manage their emotions and how they can be supported to build their resilience and protective factors such as healthy relationships which make it easier to navigate bumps in the road as they go through life," Kensington Palace said in a statement.

It will feature “famous faces from Radio 1 and the wider mental health space” and provide a space for young people “to talk about the specific mental health challenges their generation faces, explore what more they could do to understand and manage their emotions and discuss the solutions that could support them to better look after their own and each other’s mental wellbeing,” the palace adds.

Their announcement of the event on World Mental Health Day came shortly after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their own plans public, via PEOPLE. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be in New York City on Tuesday, Oct. 10 for their Archewell Foundation's first-ever in-person event, which will provide a platform for parents navigating mental health challenges in the digital age.

The Archewell Foundation will host 'The Archewell Foundation Parents’ Summit: Mental Wellness in a Digital Age' to give voice to families who are passionate about building a safer online world for children and teens, PEOPLE exclusively revealed on Thursday. It is part of Project Healthy Minds World Mental Health Day Festival.

The summit will feature parents who have experienced tragic loss connected to their child’s social media use. Meghan and Harry have been working with the parents involved in next week's event behind the scenes, PEOPLE has learned.

"The families have been engaged with The Archewell Foundation for the past year, bolstering community and driving towards solutions," a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told PEOPLE on Wednesday. "Together, they are united in their mission to share personal experiences, data, and research to ensure the same does not happen to other families."

William and Kate, both 41, will also carry out several, so-far-unannounced visits next week in support of World Mental Health Day. “The series of engagements follows Their Royal Highnesses longstanding commitment to encourage people to speak openly about their mental health, including through the milestone Heads Together campaign that was launched in 2016," the palace says.

In 2016, Kate, William and Harry launched a joint mental health initiative, Heads Together, which aimed to change the national conversation on mental wellbeing. In February 2018, Meghan joined the initiative at a mental health forum hosted by the Royal Foundation in London.
