Kate Middleton Crowns Herself With Princess Diana’s Favorite Tiara for Posh Party at the Palace

A tiara fit for a princess!

Kate Middleton made a nod to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, by wearing her favorite tiara to a white-tie event at Buckingham Palace in London on Tuesday.

The pregnant royal and her husband, Prince William, left their son, Prince George, and daughter, Princess Charlotte, at home for the evening to attend a reception for diplomats hosted by the Queen.

Middleton looked stunning with the Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot tiara placed on her shiny brown locks, which were swept into an updo.

She blinged up her outfit further with a diamond necklace and pearl and diamond earrings.

The tiara, which Queen Mary had made around 1914, is more than 100 years old. Middleton also wore it to the annual event last year.
