Kate Middleton is clearly continuing to keep calm and carry on amid the release of Prince Harry's bombshell autobiography, Spare. The Princess of Wales carried out her first solo engagement of the year earlier today at Foxcubs Nursery in Luton, where she got to spend time with young children and further her mission of the importance of early childhood.

For the wholesome outing, the Princess of Wales wore an orange knit turtleneck and matching skirt from Gabriela Hearst, which she paired with a brown belt and suede boots. It's the second time in two months Kate has opted for the vibrant outfit; she previously wore it during her and Prince William's overseas trip to Boston in December. To complete her look today, Kate topped her ensemble with a Massimo Dutti camel coat, her go-to Kiki McDonough citrine pear-shaped drop earrings, and a Stuart Weitzman clutch.

During the visit to Foxcubs—a free childcare and early education center for children which encourages families to get involved—Kate goofed around in a sand pit and got to take part in arts and crafts activities with the youngsters. At one point, she was photographed wearing one of their hand-made bunny masks, which elicited laughter from the little ones. She also spoke with early childhood educators about the early years and heard from parents about how the nursery is helping to make a difference in their kids' lives.

Early childhood is a cause that's been near and dear to Kate for years. "Outstanding early years settings like this play a huge role in positively shaping a child's development," she said of today's visit via the Prince and Princess of Wales's official Instagram account. "The collaboration between staff and parents is just one of the ways children here are supporting in their first five years."
