Kate McKinnon finds out she's been sending 'tasteful nudes' to Steven Spielberg in Oscars gag

The "Barbie" star had a hard time wrapping her head around the "Jurassic Park" movies being fictional, despite her castmate America Ferrera's best efforts.

Kate McKinnon never fails to bring the laughs at the Oscars.

Joined by her Barbie costar America Ferrera to present the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Film, the Saturday Night Live alum delivered a bit in which she discovers she's been sending her "tasteful nudes" to acclaimed filmmaker Steven Spielberg.

It began when McKinnon referred to the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies as documentaries, which Ferrera was quick to correct. "Kate, the dinosaurs weren't real," she said.

"Oh, America, not you too!" McKinnon joked.

The comedienne then turned to "Dr. Spielberg" to settle the debate as to whether the dinosaurs in the Jurassic films were authentic or CGI. "But Jeff Goldblum is real, right?" McKinnon asked. When Ferrera responded no, McKinnon quipped, "Then who have I been sending my tasteful nudes?"

That would be Spielberg, as the Oscar-winning director playfully pointed to himself.

The bit played out before McKinnon and Ferrera, the latter nominated for Best Supporting Actress, announced The Last Repair Shop as winner of Best Documentary Short. It beat out The ABCs of Book Banning, The Barber of Little Rock, Island in Between, and Nai Nai & Wài Pó.
