Kate McKinnon Does Impressions of Hillary Clinton and Ellen DeGeneres to Hillary Clinton and Ellen DeGeneres

When a good impersonator stands next to the subject of the impression, it can seem like identical twins. Now multiply that by two. SNL star Kate McKinnon stopped by Ellen on Wednesday. McKinnon is well known for her Hillary Clinton and Ellen DeGeneres impressions, and seeing as they were all in the same room together, she couldn’t help but poke fun at the presidential candidate and the talk-show host. McKinnon started by addressing Clinton as DeGeneres, offering her support for her presidential run. She then flipped the script and addressed DeGeneres as Clinton, discussing her campaign and how she will fight for the right for people to watch DeGeneres dance.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, which is maybe why both DeGeneres and Clinton tried to get on McKinnon’s good side. When asked which impression was more fun, Clinton offered a hangout at Camp David, while DeGeneres tendered a Chevy Malibu.
