Kate McKinnon Has Already Nailed Her Impression of ‘Beautiful Flower’ Marianne Williamson (Video)

Kate McKinnon really wishes we weren’t in the “Saturday Night Live” offseason right now, because she’s got her impersonation of presidential hopeful Marianne Williamson in the bag after the second Democratic debate.

Both McKinnon and Seth Meyers are worried that “beautiful flower” (as McKinnon called her) won’t make it to the primaries so she can break it out on-air when the sketch show returns this fall.

But don’t worry, because McKinnon gave a sneak peek of what she’s put together while sitting down with Meyers on Thursday’s “Late Night,” following the debate.

“I’ve heard a lot of plans here tonight and if we think plans are gonna beat Donald Trump, we’ve got another thing coming,” McKinnon said in-character as Williamson. “My plan is to gather all the sage in America and burn it. My plan is to harness the energy of babies to finally put a man on the moon. And I said to the president of New Zealand, I said, ‘girlfriend, you so wrong.’ And I said to Donald Trump, ‘boyfriend, you chill.’ Thank you.”

Williamson became one of the most-talked-about candidates on Twitter during Thursday’s debate, with many memes spawning from the unorthodox answers she gave about what she’d do as president of the United States — like calling the president of New Zealand and using “love” to fight President Trump.

Unfortunately, Meyers says “the window for Marianne Williamson impressions might be closing fast.”

“Yeah, she was a shining comet,” McKinnon said.
