Kate Mansi Celebrates 50 Years of 'Days of Our Lives' With an Instagram Takeover
Days of Our Lives turns 50 later this year, but Kate Mansi is ready to get the party started now. The actress, who plays Abigail Deveraux on the iconic NBC daytime drama, took over Yahoo TV’s Instagram account to give us a behind-the-scenes peek at the show’s upcoming 50th anniversary festivities.
In addition to giving the soap a Starbucks shout out, Mansi spills Abigail’s secrets for looking hot in Salem, nabs an Emmy thief, and gets caught in the middle of a hunk sandwich with co-stars Robert Scott Wilson ("Ben Rogers") and Billy Flynn ("Chad DiMera"). Our favorite part of this takeover is Mansi’s sneak peek at the script for the Days of Our Lives 50th anniversary episode, which is set to air in November. The savvy actress didn’t exactly spill the beans on the plot for the soap’s half-century milestone, but a few characters’ names can be seen between her carefully placed fingers. And here’s a fun fact: The script is for Episode #12,714! That’s a lifetime of drama for the Hortons, Bradys, and DiMeras, and a whole lot of sands through the hourglass.
