Kate Hudson Gushes Over 'Beautiful Mama' Goldie Hawn On Her 74th Birthday
Kate Hudson took the time to honor her mother and icon, Goldie Hawn on her 74th birthday on Thursday.
Hudson shared an adorable and rare snap of Goldie holding Kate's 1-year-old daughter, Rani Rose and wished her a happy day. Hawn looked half her age and seemed rejuvenated by the little baby's energy.
"The two most important ladies in my life and it happens to be one of their birthdays ✨Happy Birthday beautiful Mama✨ @goldiehawn #HipHipHooray 💃," Kate wrote in the caption of her post.

The social media savvy star quickly replied to Kate's tribute post and was ecstatic to see the photo Hudson selected for the birthday wish.
"Oh! I love you my baby girl!! 💖💕" Goldie said in the comments section of her daughter's cute post.
Hawn's son, Oliver Hudson also shared a cute tribute to the timeless actress. He shared a throwback photo that showed Goldie in a bikini when the star was much younger.
"Happy birthday day to this girl who happens to now be my mother!!!! And I apologize for stretching your stomach but your bounce back was all world.. I love you Ma! Keep saving the world! @goldiehawn," Oliver wrote in the caption of his post.
Goldie does not play favorites so she commented on her son's Instagram post as well.
"Oh honey. I love you and my tummy that held you. It served us well! ❤️" she wrote.

Goldie has always been a fan favorite and she reviewed a ton of well-wishes from fans.

Kate Remembers Goldie and Kurt's First Date
Hudson recently sat down with her brother, Oliver and discussed Goldie and her husband, movie star Kurt Russell's first date and how her mother knew he was the one. Their conversation was part of their new podcast, "Sibling Revelry."
"It was the first time she brought him to the house, it wasn't the first date," Hudson told her brother. "Mom said that's when she fell in love with Kurt, right away was because she brought him back to the house and we had already been asleep, and we shared a room... and he sat down next to each of us, he sat down next to you first and watched you sleep and then came by."
"And we were sleeping, and Mom said he walked in and he saw us and she unexpectedly was just going to peek in and see them, but he sat down next to each of us," she continued. "He sat down next to you first and watched you sleep and then came by."
"I loved that story ‘cause she realized then, as Mom says, that values and kids and family values was everything to Kurt."
