Justin Long and Kate Bosworth got a taste of the USA.

The Blue Crush actress, 40, posted a series of pictures from a road trip with her husband, 45.

In Indianapolis, the pair posed by the sign for Long’s Bakery and dove into pastrami sandwiches from Shapiro’s Deli. They slurped noodles at Yokozuna Yale in Oklahoma, and licked Sawmill Market popsicles in New Mexico.

“Ate our way cross country!” Bosworth wrote in the caption. "(Things started to get real in Albuquerque w/ stained shirts slide 6)."

Long quipped back in the comments, “I figured because we were mostly in the car all day, very few people would see said stained shirt! At least… fewer than a million.”

Long also joked about their dog, Happy, in the comment, “Best. Cross country trip. Ever. Thanks in no part to Happy’s farts.”

The couple, who tied the knot at the Rockaway Hotel in Queens, New York earlier this year, kept it casual for their cross-country outfits. In some pictures, Bosworth is wearing a gray and yellow Patagonia sweatshirt and dark gray sweatpants. Long is photographed in various t-shirts, like the stained Dos Hombres tee, and dark blue jeans.

A few months ago, the pair shared a food-focused post in a fancier setting. In September, Long and Bosworth dined at upscale vegetarian eatery Eleven Madison Park in New York City — and even went behind the scenes of their meal to pose for a picture with the restaurant workers. While in the kitchen, Long and Bosworth shared a near-kiss for one picture.

Long described their multi-course meal as the “most deliciously memorable vegan meal” in the caption while thanking the “talented staff of culinary greats.”

A source told PEOPLE about the pair’s wedding. "After they got engaged, Kate couldn’t wait to marry Justin. She knew that she never wanted a big wedding. She just cared about being married," said the source in May.

"They kept talking about eloping," the insider added. "They ended up having an impromptu and casual wedding a few weeks ago. It was perfect. She is thrilled to be married to Justin."
