Kate Beckinsale has sparked a little confusion. The "Underworld" actress is a regular when it comes to being snapped hitting the gym, but paparazzi photos of the 46-year-old's latest fitness outing left some viewers stumped over her wardrobe choices.
Photos obtained by The Daily Mail on Friday showed Kate looking upbeat – and let's face it, smoking hot – as she hit Los Angeles' streets for her usual workout. The British newspaper itself dubbed the actress " a 10," and it was easy to see why.

Skin-Tight Leggings And...Platform Boots?
Kate had her gym-honed figure on show. The brunette was showcasing her impressively-toned legs via a skin-tight pair of leggings in dark and patterned fabrics – she paired her workout pants with a loose and off-the-shoulder sweater in white.
Kate also wore statement dark shades, plus a shoulder bag. Oh, and a giant pair of platform-heeled boots. Anyone familiar with Kate's workout runs will know that the boots are a bit of a thing: back in September 2019, Kate wore leopard-print leggings and leather boots to hit the gym.
'She Leaves The Gym In Boots?': Viewers Are Stumped
The comments section to The Daily Mail's report now comes littered with responses regarding the footwear.
"She leaves the gym in boots?" a fan wrote with over 80 others agreeing.
"Those freaking boots again" seemed to come from a user already familiar with the star's unique pairing choices.
"She is wearing them now for a wind-up," one fan added. Another fan called the footwear "ridiculous," suggesting that Kate might be "insecure" about her height.
With a giant smile on her face in the photos, Kate did not appear insecure.

Kate has been clapping back with full force of late after her Golden Globes 2020 sighting with rapper Machine Gun Kelly fueled dating rumors. The two were photographed together in a vehicle as they departed the Chateau Marmont venue hosting the Golden Globes after-party.
"Machine gun Kelly Really? I’m out!!! You are now infected," a fan told Kate as she posted a cat video.
"Why don’t you worry about things that are actually happening and donate to the Australian wild fires rather than waste your time on things that are not happening and never were and also please get a f**king life," the actress replied.

Kate does appear to have a penchant for younger men. The star was already in her mid-forties when she dated Pete Davidson in 2019. The former couple enjoyed a brief romance after the SNL star split from singer Ariana Grande.
Prior to dating Pete, Kate was in a relationship with Matt Rife. At the time, Kate was 43 and Matt was just 21.
Kate was married to producer Len Wiseman (he's closer to her age), with the actress also known for her long-term relationship with Michael Sheen. Together, Kate and Michael are parents to a 20-year-old daughter named Lily.
