Kate Beckinsale Shows Off Her Costumed Cats On ‘The Late Show’
Kate Beckinsale, from movies like Serendipity, Love and Friendship, and her latest, Underworld: Blood Wars, stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to talk about one of her hobbies: dressing up her cats. Beckinsale lovingly described one cat as “quite stupid” but really loving dressing up despite the “resting bitch face.”
Her cat has enjoyed such costumes as a gingerbread cookie, a panda hat, and an egg crate. Colbert gave Beckinsale a hard time about a cat photo that featured a “penis lamp” in the background. Colbert had the scandalous portion of the lamp blurred out, but Beckinsale was a bit bewildered as to why that was necessary because the offensive portion of the lamp was merely the light switch, saying, “Yes, that’s what you flick up and down. That’s the genius of the lamp.”
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
