Kate Beckinsale is getting lots of love from her pets while in the hospital.

On Wednesday, the actress, 50, shared a post of her being visited in her hospital bed by her beloved Pomeranian Myf.

Beckinsale wore blue pajamas with dogs on them and a black velvet hair bow in the cute snap shared on her Instagram Story. She smiled as she held her pup, who looked up at the camera.

The Underworld star captioned the post, "Visitor," just like she did on Tuesday after getting a visit from her cat Willow. In Tuesday's pic, Beckinsale wore a pink sweater while snuggling her fluffy feline.

The actress has been sharing updates from the hospital throughout the week but hasn't yet revealed why she's been admitted. Beckinsale's rep declined to comment when contacted by PEOPLE on Wednesday.

The latest update comes after Beckinsale sparked concern when she shared two teary-eyed photos of herself on Instagram while celebrating her mom Judy's birthday and Mother's Day in the U.K. on Monday. Beckinsale mentioned being "sick" in the caption but didn't reveal any further information.

“Happy birthday and U.K. Mother’s Day this last week to my incredible mother,” she captioned the post earlier this week. “Thank you to those that love us and support us when it’s s--- and try to make sure there are some bits that aren’t. And for looking after our dogs when we can’t, and lead us to remember happy things when we can’t. And turn up when we are sick and sit with us . . And send balloons and check in and pull us out of wells with love.”

“Thank you for loving us, those who do, and for the amazing, kindest Nick, and especially for my mother’s capacity for joy. It is so inspiring and beautiful,” she continued. “Happy everything mama. Your fight for joy despite also welcoming tears is the experience of watching a warrior up close. I love you x.”

Among the carousel of photos, Beckinsale posted snaps and videos of her mom enjoying champagne and cake while wearing a sweater with 1970 written across it.

Beckinsale's beloved pets regularly feature on her Instagram. In December, she dressed Myf and Willow up as nurses to look after her mom, sharing some adorable snaps.

"I am not posting my nurse’s outfit because it’s pajamas and a hoodie and I had a root canal surgery today," she captioned the post shared on Dec. 30.

"But these are my nursing support team and we are looking after our Jude. Please send her well wishes-she feels so poorly and also couldn’t spend her usual 5-7 hours in hospital visiting my stepdad and might need some extra love and reminding she is a badass and is allowed to stay in bed and be looked after💕," she added.

Beckinsale's stepfather Roy Battersby sadly died on Jan. 10 at age 87 after "a brief period of illness," the family confirmed.
