Kate Beckinsale’s little girl is all grown up.

Lily Sheen, the actress’s only child with ex Michael Sheen, turned 18 on Tuesday, and Mom was feeling appropriately sentimental about it. Along with a photo of Lily playing in her shoes as a toddler, the Underworld: Blood Wars actress wrote, “18 and now you’re in the big girl shoes for real. I love you so much @lily_beckinsale. Nothing has been better in my life than being your mama. Happy happy happy birthday to my favourite, funniest best person in the world.”

The 43-year-old British beauty included an LOL PS: “We will obviously get you better shoes those are hideous I don’t know what I was thinking.”

Kate later shared a photo of mother and daughter twinning with what she described as their “I am moments from throwing an elbow” faces.

Lily is headed off to college this fall, another moment Kate shared on social media. In December, Kate posted a photo of her friendly ex, Michael, first picking up Lily and then picking up Kate in celebration of Lily’s college acceptance letter. She wrote that they “are so unbelievably proud” of the teen, adding, “Fly fly fly.”

Kate later told the website TooFab that she got into trouble for the post. Apparently Lily, who uses her mom’s last name on Instagram and has 27,500 followers, wasn’t happy with the wording of her mum’s post. “She said, ‘I wish you’d said I got into the college of my choice, because it sounded like you had no hope of me getting into any college anywhere, made me sound like a loser!'” Kate recalled.

Kate has long been marking memorable milestones in her daughter’s life on Instagram. In August, she shared a photo of Lily’s “first first day of school/last first day of school.”

First first day of school/last first day of school. Love you so much @lily_beckinsale ❤️❤️❤️

She also posted a photo of the first time the teen got behind the wheel. (Fun fact: Kate doesn’t drive, so the teen often drives her places.)

I've never had anything spring out of my uterus and drive me around before. I need a second. @lily_beckinsale

And Kate, Michael, and Lily all re-created the hospital photo from the day the teen was born.

Always a baby to me #Lily — See more tonight on the @latelateshow ✨

Lily has appeared in three movies — two of them playing a younger version of her mom. One of those times was Underworld: Evolution, which starred both her parents.

In England we like to start ass whooping training as early as possible #tbt

She’s walked the red carpet with Beckinsale on a handful of occasions and attended the Golden Globes with her dad in 2014.

Kate has said that Lily wants to be an actress, something she’s not that thrilled about, because she knows the downsides. However, she says her girl has a good head on her shoulders and knows what she’s getting into. “I can see why she wants to do it,” she told the Evening Standard in December. “I don’t love the downside of it for my baby. But it’s not like she hasn’t seen both of her parents having a real experience of what it’s like. She has seen us ecstatic and miserable — she’s seen that, squared.”

Lily’s own Instagram shows the life of a pretty normal teen. She’s sarcastic. She’s clever. She loves hanging out with her friends. She’s a dancer. She recently spent time in NYC (when Kate was filming The Only Living Boy in New York) and is a Big Apple novice. She gives her mom and dad occasional shout-outs — and also makes fun of them. She’s not above sharing a good Snoop meme.

And now she’s 18. HBD to her.
