Kat Von D and her family are bringing holiday cheer to their entire neighborhood. The world renowned tattoo artist and her husband, artist Rafael Reyes, have created what they’re calling a “winter wonderland,” in celebration of their first Christmas in their new home. And they’ve inviting the neighbors to enjoy it too.

On Instagram, the former LA Ink star posted a video of the Christmas scene at her house, saying it was ready to welcome residents of their Windsor Square neighborhood in Los Angeles.

“We hope people come by and enjoy what we’ve created and hope it brings a smile to everyone! Feel free to bring the little ones for photos on the train and the gingerbread house,” she wrote on Instagram.

The Instagram video shows the Christmas experience in all its splendor, replete with a train, life-sized wooden soldiers and a mailbox for letters to Santa. The video also travels inside the family’s home, which is decked to the nines for Christmas as well, though Von D notes in her caption that the inside of her home is not open to the public.

“Thanks ahead of time for respecting our privacy and enjoying all of this from the outside of the property,” she wrote.

Von D also reposted Instagram Stories from neighbors who are loving the joy her family has brought to the block.

“Kat Von D filling the neighborhood with Christmas cheer,” wrote one person.

“Looks so beautiful,” wrote another.

The family, including their young son Leafer, recently moved into the new home, and Von D has been posting images of the house which really should be described as a work of art.

“Inspired by my favorite era of Gothic architecture, I designed our master bathroom to pay homage to all the cathedrals I’ve been lucky enough to visit over the years, but with a surreal monochromatic spin,” she wrote of the bathroom along with an accompanying video. “The goal is to make every corner of our new house with artful intention and create a space that will continuously inspire our family for years to come.”

As for the winter wonderland, it looks like the family is hoping to make it happen for years to come too. “We plan on having this up for you all the way through Christmas,” Von D wrote. “If everyone loves it, we may just make this our Christmas tradition!”
