When rumors started to spread about Aaron B.'s intentions on Thursday's 'Bachelor in Paradise', he claimed, "I’m 100 percent here for the right reasons"

Davia Bunch caught the women of Paradise up on her date with Tanner Courtad, but Kat Izzo only wanted to talk to Tanner on Thursday's Bachelor in Paradise.

“I’m not an option,” Kat, 27, told the cameras of dating Tanner. “I will never be an option.”

When Kat and Tanner, 30, sat down to talk, she told him she “was kind of really disappointed” that he said “yes” to the date with Davia, 32, before talking to her.

“It was very hurtful because it was my birthday and it just felt like you weren’t prioritizing my feelings in that moment,” Kat said to Tanner.

Tanner told Kat he felt “conflicted” about choosing between her and Davia.

“We do have a lot of things in common. It seems like we value the same things and want the same things outside of here,” he continued. “I just feel like we have very different personalities.”

Tanner didn’t feel like Kat would make a good wife.

“When I’m thinking about what I want in a wife, there’s just like some certain things that were maybe just a little bit different,” he said to her.

Kat claimed she didn’t see Tanner as husband material, either. “I also don’t see you being a partner that I would probably want to start a life with because I would be worried that outside of here, I wouldn’t be able to trust you,” she said.

Tanner informed Kat that, after his date with Davia, “I just feel like I’m not sure if there’s a future outside of Paradise with us.”

In an on-camera interview, Kat shouted, “How dare you think that you get to break up with me? You don’t!”

But to Tanner, she tried to play it cool. “It’s all good. We’re good,” Kat said to Tanner. “We’re all good. It’s fine.”

MORE CONNECTIONS BREAK

After Blake Moynes and Jess Girod decided to give each other space, Blake, 32, agreed to go on a date with newcomer Genevie Mayo from Zach Shallcross’s season of The Bachelor.

When Blake talked to Jess, 24, about his choice to go, he said he felt “unwanted” after their previous conversation.

“If she’s choosing me, I want to give her a fair shot at that,” Blake said to Jess of Genevie, 26. “And I also think it might be good for you. I won’t be around. You can explore things you need to explore without me being here. Maybe it is what we need.”

Jess apologized to Blake for making him feel unwanted. And despite their past discussion, in which she said she hadn’t “done anything for myself” in Paradise, Jess told the cameras she felt blindsided by Blake’s move.

“I just like, truly didn’t see it coming,” Jess said. “I just didn’t think he would say ‘yes.’”

While Blake went on his date with Genevie, which included drinking champagne and kissing on the sand, Tyler Norris shot his shot with Jess. They made out on a daybed and Jess seemed to forget all about Blake.

Meanwhile, Kat tried to go after John Henry Spurlock.

“It’s giving she’s desperate,” Olivia Lewis said in a confessional interview. “Kat is so narcissistic and all she wants is a rose.”

Then Kat pivoted her attention to combusting Eliza Isichei and Aaron Bryant’s relationship by telling Eliza, 27, that Aaron, 30, and his ex-girlfriend had supposedly been talking before he went on Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette.

“Charity has given me only warnings to stay away from him,” Kat said to Eliza.

Eliza didn’t know how to take that information.

“I don’t know Charity, but she seems like a very intelligent woman,” Eliza said in an on-camera interview. “So I’m like, okay, maybe I do have to listen to what you’re saying.’”

Brayden Bowers and Rachel Recchia’s newly formed bond also faced a test when Becca Serano from Zach's season showed up with a date card that she used to ask out Brayden, 24.

“You’re okay. Have fun. I’ll see you later,” Rachel, 27, said to Brayden.

But as Brayden and Becca, 26, embarked on an intimate dinner, Rachel started to get upset.

“Why would you put me through that?” the former Bachelorette cried to the cameras, adding, “I just feel dumb in so many capacities.”

ELIZA WANTS ANSWERS

Not realizing Kat spilled the tea to Eliza, Aaron B. decided he wanted to make things official with Eliza.

“My confidence right now is super high because I know what Eliza and I have, and I know that committing to her and being exclusive is what I want to do,” he told the cameras. “I really feel like Eliza and I can go the distance, we can be engaged.”

Before any of that could happen, though, Eliza wanted to talk to Aaron B. about what Charity supposedly said to Kat.

“She tells me that Charity told her to avoid you,” Eliza said to Aaron B. “She was just kind of like, ‘Stay away from Aaron B., like, he’s not a good guy.’”

Aaron B. proceeded to tell Eliza his side of the story.

“I just want to be truthful and let you know exactly what I’m going through,” he began. “So I had an ex last year, we broke up in August right before her birthday because of the toxicity in our relationship. She’s been trying to put my name out there because she thinks that I broke up with her to go on the show, when the truth is, I had not been talking to her since August. I got the call in December. I was seeing someone else at the time and she ended things in October. I actually, she stopped seeing me.”

Aaron B. claimed he and the second ex never made things official and were “on and off.”

“She decided to end things over text with me two days after New Year’s and that was in January,” the former Bachelorette contestant said. “So the fact that she says I broke up with her to go on the show and that I had two girlfriends at once, it was just zero percent true.”

Eliza chose to believe him. “I really just have to take what he’s saying as true,” she said to Jess afterwards.

Eliza wanted to touch base with Charity, 27, too, and yet again, the Paradise Gods delivered.

Charity descended the stairs and arrived on the sand to catch up with the ladies. Eliza told Charity she’d been “so drawn” to Aaron B., but wanted to ask about what Kat told her. So the two women went to speak privately.

“I would love to hear your perspective,” Eliza said to Charity.

At the same time, Aaron B. confronted Kat to ask why she went right to Eliza with that information instead of talking to him first.

“Just trying to let her know and she can do with that what she wants,” Kat said.

“I just don’t think that it was fair,” Aaron B. replied.

In an on-camera interview, Aaron B. asserted, “I’m 100 percent here for the right reasons. I’m here to find love. I’m here to find my person. I’m here to get engaged.”

But he thought Charity could stand in the way of his happiness.

“Charity, how keen are you to destroy my life?” Aaron B. asked the cameras.
