Kat Graham and Bryant Wood have tied the knot.

The Vampire Diaries star wed her best friend and business partner in a secret ceremony in October 2023, transforming their longtime friendship into a life-long relationship.

The couple got married in a legal ceremony in Los Angeles, wearing matching white outfits for the special occasion. Their union was officiated by one of their friends.

In addition to their intimate, secret ceremony, the Love in the Villa actress and Wood are planning a larger, second celebration in 2024. A date has yet to be set.

Graham opened up to PEOPLE in March 2021 for the annual Beautiful Issue about self-love. “I had a lot of self-realization," she said, recalling a particularly important life transition that came amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

"You've got to get into this self-love space," Graham continued. Elsewhere in the interview, she spoke about the importance of giving "yourself an opportunity to heal. ... It takes a long time, and you don't know who you might inspire if you just loved yourself."

He is a master breathwork instructor

Bryant Wood is a former model and body builder-turned-yogi, according to Kahli Life's website, where he can be booked as a breathwork guide. A "master" in the practice, Wood works to help people "learn the importance of mind, body and breath awareness."

In addition to breathwork, Wood is an inspirational speaker for Pranashama Shamanic Yoga Institute. He is also a certified NLP practitioner who leads workshops and retreats around the globe.

He's been friends with Kat Graham for years

Graham and Wood have been close friends for five years, starting their wellness company Modern Nirvana together along with Frank Elaridi. The duo took their relationship a step further in June when they began dating.

Prior to tying the knot in October 2023, the "Sassy" singer and Wood have managed to keep their relationship out of the public eye. Instead, they placed their focus on their shared business.

Graham teamed up with the breathwork instructor to start a wellness company together. Called Modern Nirvana, the company aims to inspire people to take control of their spiritual and physical wellbeing.

“Big next couple months for @modern.nirvana,” Wood captioned a July 2022 Instagran photo with his business partners, including Graham. “I am grateful to have such beautiful and powerful friends that I get to create a better world with!”

Later that year, Wood uploaded more fun news about their growing endeavor. “Today is the official release of the @modern.nirvana oracle deck! Link in bio,” Wood wrote on a video of himself debuting the new product in October 2022.

The guide book, created by Wood, Graham, Elaridi and Jennifer Sodin, comes with 50 cards. According to their website, it’s meant to be used “as a tool of self-inquiry and empowerment through life’s transitions.”

Graham and Wood have kept their relationship low-key since they started dating, and their wedding ceremony was no different. They tied the knot in a secret Los Angeles ceremony, but are planning to have a larger celebration in 2024.
