Kash Doll Might Be Dropping The “Doll” As She Enters A New Era

Kash Doll is entering a new stage in life, and wants to rebrand to reflect her evolution. The Detroit native explained to Angela Yee that she might soon update her stage name. As a guest on Way Up WIth Angela Yee last month, the rapper discussed her pending new music and moniker.
“I’m juggling between a few things,” she detailed. “I was going to say The Last Doll, and it means so much, right? Like I think I’ma leave the ‘doll’ stuff alone. I think I’m going to give it to my child. Hopefully, it’s a girl. I’ma go ahead and pass that down.”
She continued to detail, “I’m a grown woman with two kids — I don’t want to be called a doll no more. And then it’s so many dolls. Shout out to them… but it’s like every time my name is brought up, it’s like, ‘Who’s the best doll?’”
The interview was seemingly filmed before the “Ice Me Out” performer shared her gender reveal on social media, announcing she is pregnant with a baby girl. She initially shared she and partner Tracy T were expecting last month on her birthday. The couple had their first child, a son Kashton Prophet, in 2022.
“We were having fun. I was drinking and kept getting sick. I couldn’t keep anything down,” shared the “Doin Too Much” rapper with PEOPLE about learning she was pregnant on vacation. “I took a test and it said yes!”
She continued, “What I am most excited about is just extending my family and having more offspring and leaving my legacy behind.”
