Karmen Petrovic Has So Much Passion For WWE And Hopes It Shows

One of the rising stars on WWE NXT is the Bosnia-born star Karmen Petrovic. She made a mark on the Black and Gold brand as one of the contestants in the 2023 NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. The third-degree black belt holder in karate is recently reflected on her road to becoming a WWE Superstar.

The 28-year-old star has only had a handful of matches in the Stamford-based promotion. She has not had any prior wrestling experience before getting signed with NXT. Her first match was in March of last year. She first showed up during NXT’s Live House Shows. Karmen Petrovic was first wrestling under the name Monika Klisara. But when the time came for her to show herself on Live Television the Bosnian wrestler had a complete change in character.

Recently, Petrovic took to Twitter to share that a year ago she had no idea about what it takes to be a professional wrestler. She learned from scratch and went on to train at the Performance Center and finally make it to showcase her talents on live television.

“i got into this crazy world just a year ago, learning this sport from scratch, it’s not perfect but i have so much passion for it.. i work on it daily, i go home and dream about it.. it’s hard to explain but i truly love it, i hope that that shows,” Karmen Petrovic tweeted.

Although Petrovic has been featured regularly on NXT Television, she has not been able to capture a lot of victories. Despite the plethora of losses, the Bosnian-born wrestler is focussed on moving forward and making her mark in professional wrestling.
