On the August 29 episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Karen Huger was sworn in as am ambassador to her hometown of Surry County, Virginia.

After accepting her honor on the courthouse steps, Karen made an announcement about her business. "There will be an expansion to La'Dame," the fragrance founder shared with her audience, which included Wendy Osefo. Karen continued: "We are installing candles, and aromatherapy for the home."

Wendy herself has been working on a candle line and asked Karen for advice regarding her new business endeavor during a meeting at Karen's house. In her interview, the professor said: "I'm a bit confused. She did not mention her candle line when I was at her house."

In Karen's own interview, she explained why she hadn't told Wendy about her candle plans during that meeting. "When Wendy came to me, it was not about me," she said. "It's about Wendy. There's a little difference in what Wendy and I are doing. The La'Dame candle is a three-wick candle, and hers is a one-wick candle. So mine can cover the area of a larger space, if you will."

And on Instagram following the airing of the August 29 episode, Karen shared more. "The truth is ... everyone knew I was coming out with a home fragrance candle and gift set... Wendy came to biz advice and I will always be there to support a sister!"

Karen's post continued: "I walk in my truth, La'Dame by Karen Huger began 3 years ago with discovery + development + a powerful plan! Locked and Loaded! I launched with a fragrance and shared, Sky's the limit for La'Dame!! Fragrance, Wigs, Candles & Home ... this is a multi billion dollar industry; there is room at the table for all of us. By chance if you don't have a seat at the table I'll get one for you. There is so much more - Buckle Up, are you ready? I am!"
