Karen Ceesay Signs With The Green Room Talent

Karen Ceesay, known for recurring roles in The Walking Dead and Stranger Things, has signed with The Green Room Talent for management.

Ceesay appeared in Season 2 of Netflix’s Stranger Things in the role of Lucas’ mom Sue Sinclair, later reprising the character in a couple of episodes of Season 4. Prior to that, Ceesay played Bertie on AMC’s The Walking Dead, appearing between Season 6 and Season 10 for a total of 14 episodes.

Other acting credits include Hulu miniseries The Girl from Plainville, the NBC sitcom Young Rock, the Fox series Deputy, the CW show Black Lightning, the OWN series Greenleaf and the Fox series The Gifted.

Ceesay has also appeared in Clairvoyance the Ellis Files, Satisfaction, Resurrection, Army Wives, Reed Between the Lines, One Tree Hill, Drop Dead Diva and Somebodies.

As a co-producer and writer, Ceesay has worked on the digital series Intersection, a dark comedy written in a diverse, all-female writers room and produced with a cast and crew that is 80% female and BIPOC.

Ceesay will continue to be represented by J. Pervis Talent in the southeast.
