Kardashians hairstylist Chris Appleton reveals he's 'very much in love' with 'You' actor Lukas Gage

Chris Appleton, longtime hairstylist to the Kardashians, is opening up about his romance with actor Lukas Gage.

Appleton, 39, confirmed during a recent appearance on the "The Drew Barrymore Show" that he and the actor, who has appeared on "The White Lotus" and "You," are a couple.

"I'm very happy," Appleton said after Barrymore, 48, asked him about his romantic life, in a clip posted to Twitter Wednesday. "I'm very much in love, and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special. Love is a really special thing."

Barrymore expressed her joy at hearing this from Appleton.

"You are such a good person," she replied. "I can't think of anyone who deserves happiness more."

"Here's to love," Appleton exclaimed, before scooping Barrymore up in his arms.

He then confirmed he's dating Gage, 27, after Barrymore pulled up a picture of the couple on a recent trip to Mexico. Appleton had shared photos from the vacation on his Instagram in February, sparking relationship rumors.

In November 2020, Gage earned praise throughout Hollywood for how he handled an uncomfortable moment during a Zoom audition, in which a director dissed his living space while not realizing he wasn't on mute.

The director, who claimed to be "mortified," then told Gage: "Oh my God, I am so, so sorry."

"Listen, I am living in a four by four box, it's fine, just give me the job, and we'll be fine," Gage said back before the clip ended.

Support poured in on social media for Gage following the incident, including from Cynthia Erivo, Joe Jonas and Molly Shannon.
