The child custody battle between Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna is far from over. The iconic family has filed multiple claims against the child's mother, and a new court document has just made its way online.
The document, dated January 9th, alleges that Blac Chyna acted inappropriately during a deposition on September 24, 2019. The first claim is that Chyna arrived at the hearing 90 minutes late. Whether dealing with a simple traffic ticket or something as serious as a child's custody, being tardy to court is a big no-no.
The next allegation took a bit of an unexpected turn. But really, is it that unexpected?
"At the lunch break," the document continues, " Plaintiff began to engage in a photoshoot in the main conference room of the L&S office, as well as in and around Defendants’ counsel’s office building, accompanied by her counsel, Lynne Ciani and a small entourage of photographers and stylists.”
Blac Chyna, whose given name is Angela Renée White, has filed a response in full denial of this claim. She - or her legal team, presumably - responded with a simple statement: "There has been no discovery misconduct by Plaintiff.”
But the Kardashian
klaims claims don't end here.
It appears that this photoshoot caused an extension of the lunch break by about 80 minutes. Once court was back in order, Chyna and "her attorney were disruptive during the deposition, refusing to answer relevant questions and preventing a full and fair examination." Time ran out for the deposition to be concluded in a single day. This caused all kinds of fun festivities that were spelled out in lots of legalese - essentially, another court date had to be scheduled.
Rob and Chyna's daughter, Dream Kardashian, was born in November 2016. The two split (for the first time) just one month later. They saw a short reconciliation in early 2017 but all bets were off when Kardashian posted sexually explicit photos of her on social media later that summer. This also resulted in Rob's ban from Instagram.
He has since found his way back to the platform (and we can most likely thank our resident momager Kris Jenner for that one).
It was announced earlier this week that Rob is now seeking sole custody of Dream. He's also reported to be requesting that Chyna's time with the child follow strict guidelines. This includes visitation on weekends only, that a nanny be present during such occasions, and that Chyna would submit to both an alcohol and drug test at least 30 minutes before each visit begins.
It was only one year ago when the parents supposedly reached an agreement to seek 50/50 custody. Something drastic must've happened since then.
Apparently, we can't "keep up."
