The new Karate Kid movie will star American Born Chinese’s Ben Wang, with Joshua Jackson having joined the cast as well. Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio are also reprising their respective roles as Mr. Han and Daniel LaRusso in the movie.

Plot details for the film are being kept under wraps at this time, though it’s known that it will largely be set on the East Coast and focus on a teenager from China. The new Karate Kid movie is currently scheduled to release on December 13, 2024.
