Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign's 'Vultures' is now reportedly arriving on New Year's Eve

Last Friday (Dec. 15), fans were left disappointed after Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign‘s Vultures album didn’t appear on streaming platforms as promised. On Monday (Dec. 18), TMZ revealed that the joint LP will now be arriving on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31). As far as why the delay took place, said publication cited one single, “Everybody,” which included what was said to be an uncleared Backstreet Boys sample.
As REVOLT previously reported, another song, “New Body,” was blocked by collaborator Nicki Minaj, who felt that the offering was too old. “Regarding Kanye, that train has left the station, okay?” she said during a livestream while promoting her new release, Pink Friday 2. “No disrespect in any way. I just put out a brand new album. Why would I put out a song that’s been out for three years? Come on, guys.”
During the Las Vegas listening session for Vultures, Ye responded to the Young Money talent’s decision. “I made that girl rewrite her verse three times for ‘Monster.’ I supported her career. So I don’t know what it is, but we’re going to get this or we just ain’t going to push it,” the Chicago star could be heard saying in a fan-recorded video.
Back in October, clips surfaced that saw Ye and Ty Dolla $ign working on their then-unnamed body of work during an extended stay in Italy. Shortly after, they announced a massive event for Reggio Emilia’s RCF Arena that was ultimately scrapped. The duo eventually shared a tracklist and confirmed assists from the likes of Kodak Black, Offset, Freddie Gibbs, Charlie Wilson, Kid Cudi, and Lil Durk, the last of whom appeared on Vultures‘ title track. Even Ye’s daughter North West followed in her father’s footsteps by contributing some raps of her own.
