Kanye West Reportedly To Drop 40-Min Apology Video To Jewish People Ahead Of ‘Vultures’ Release

Kanye West is reportedly not finished with trying to smooth things over with the Jewish community. The 46-year-old artist plans to release a 40-minute apology video ahead of the release of his joint album with Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures.

TMZ reports via a source close to the Donda artist that he assembled a camera crew to record the apology several weeks ago. They claim that the Grammy winner rambles through a lot of the video and it is difficult to decipher what he was saying at some points.

There is currently no set date for the video to drop, but with Forbes reporting earlier this week that Vultures will come out on Feb. 9, it should come any time before then. However, given the fact Vultures has already been pushed back multiple times after an initial release date of Dec. 15, 2023, nothing is set in stone.

This report comes just under a month after Kanye West already offered an apology to the Jewish community following another anti-semitic rant. “I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” he wrote in Hebrew in a now-deleted Instagram post from December.

West was caught on camera in Las Vegas making incendiary remarks about Jewish people, Drake, and politics back in November. Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg, who is Jewish himself, did not believe that Ye was being sincere in his apology.

“I wonder what the sample is that Kanye needs to try to clear before Friday,” he told TMZ Live. “We all know Kanye notoriously is late with handling album stuff and I just wonder whether there was something getting held up and someone said ‘Hey, this sample does not get cleared if he does not issue an apology.'”
