Kanye West Releases Spooky Teaser Trailer for Upcoming Album “Vultures ”and Sets Three-Part Release

The first volume of 'Vultures,' which is a collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, will drop on Feb. 9

Kanye West is giving fans a sneak peek of his upcoming album Vultures.

On Tuesday, the Graduation rapper released a teaser trailer to his collaborative project with Ty Dolla $ign as the superduo ¥$.

The trailer, directed by Jon Rafman, features a series of spooky clips of smiling clowns, explosions, wolves, civilians in masks and robes — and of course, vultures.

The end of the trailer reveals that Vultures will be split into three volumes. The first will arrive on Feb. 9, while the second and third will arrive on March 8 and April 5.

On his Instagram Stories, the "Flashing Lights" rapper, 46, revealed the various cover arts for each volume.

In November, West delivered a surprise performance of his song "Vultures" at Lil Durk's concert alongside Ty Dolla $ign at Blu Dubai.

The night club shared a video of West's performance on Instagram Stories, which showcased the musician rapping offensive lyrics from the track like, "How am I antisemitic? I just f---ed a Jewish bitch.”

In addition to the antisemitic lyrics, West also appears to reference his former manager Scooter Braun. “I just f---ed Scooter’s bitch,” he raps before citing the Columbine High School shooting tragedy.

Then, in December, Nicki Minaj shut down West’s request that the track, which has been on the back burner since at least 2018, be included in Vultures.

West got the ball rolling when he tweeted a screenshot of a text message he'd seemingly sent Minaj asking for permission to release “New Body” on Vultures, a new project made with the "Or Nah" rapper.

“Hi it’s ye,” West wrote in the text, which he shared to X (formerly Twitter). “May I call you about clearing new body on the new album.”

Though the text did not receive an immediate response from Minaj, she did address its release in an Instagram Live, explaining that the song would not be coming out because the moment had passed.

“Now regarding Kanye, that train has left the station, OK?” she said. “No disrespect in any way, I just put out a brand new album. Now why would I put out a song that has been out for three years? Come on guys. You know?”
